Current research:

My research focuses on advancing minimally invasive and robotic hepatobiliary (HPB) surgery, with an emphasis on improving surgical outcomes and perioperative care. This includes clinical outcomes research and quality improvement initiatives using institutional and NSQIP data, as well as studies evaluating robotic approaches in liver and pancreatic surgery.

In parallel, I am involved in education-focused research, particularly the development and evaluation of structured, competency-based robotic surgery training programs.

Clinical Interests:

My clinical interests include hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, with a particular focus on complex oncologic disease. I have a strong interest in minimally invasive and robotic approaches to liver and pancreatic surgery, as well as the management of advanced HPB malignancies and complex surgical oncology.

Additional interests include optimization of perioperative care, management of biliary disease, and the integration of innovation and technology to improve surgical outcomes and patient recovery.
