McGill Summer Academy  cancellation policy (2024)

Upon registration to McGill Summer Academy (MSA), students are committing to attend and actively participate in all courses and student-led activities.

Confirmation of activity

McGill Summer Academy (MSA) will confirm by May 1, 2024, if the in-person session will take place. Should COVID-19 restrictions prevent us from being able to host the in-person session, students will be offered the opportunity to attend the virtual session. Should this situation arise, the virtual session will take place over the same dates as the proposed in-person session. Students will have until May 9, 2024, to inform us of their decision to attend the virtual session. Students that do not wish to attend the virtual session will have 100% of their program fees refunded, excluding the non-refundable confirmation fee.

Extenuating circumstances

In the case of extenuating circumstances, should the student no longer be able to attend MSA, it is the responsibility of the student/parent/legal guardian to contact MSA and inform us of this change. The cancellation deadline is May 10, 2024, with a refund of 50% of the program fees, excluding the non-refundable confirmation fee.
