What is McGill +

McGill+ (McGill plus) is an e-learning program available through MyCourses. It helps incoming undergraduate students adjust to university and navigate adulthood.

McGill+ brings together evidence-based strategies, practical tips, and service information to support students during their transition to university life. 

The McGill’s Office of the Associate Provost – Student Life and Learning (OAPSLL) in collaboration with the Education for Mental Health Resilience (EMHR) office, has developed McGill+ as a resource to support incoming undergraduates’ adjustment to university.

Aims 
 

  • Provide evidence-based and practical guidance on common academic, social, personal, and well-being needs. 
  • Serve as a first-step resource supporting students’ academic journey and personal growth during the transition to university and adulthood. 

Overview 

McGill+ is available in English and French. Students can explore the content at their own pace and return to topics as their needs change throughout university life.
