
Zachary Boychuck awarded a McGill Medstar Award
Zachary Boychuck, erg., PhD Faculty Lecturer in the OT Program at SPOT, was recently awarded a McGill MedStar Award by McGill’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences for his publication, "International expert recommendations of clinical features to prompt referral for diagnostic assessment of cerebral palsy," in Developmental Medicine & Child Neurology. The publication also features several SPOT co-authors from the PROMPT group.

SPOT earns Sustainability Bronze!
The School of Physical and Occupational Therapy has been awarded the Bronze level rating for the unit, by McGill's Office of Sustainability. The designation is a testament to the importance that the unit places on activities that are respectful of the three dimensions of sustainability: social, economic and environment.


Noémi Dahan-Oliel, PhD OT, guest co-editor in American Journal of Medical Genetics
Dr. Dahan-Oliel, together with Dr. Judith Hall, were guest editors for the American Journal of Medical Genetics (Part C Seminars in Medical Genetics) for the topics of Arthrogryposis.

Raphael Lencucha, PhD invited to World Health Organization
Raphael Lencucha, PhD, has been invited to serve on an expert panel at the World Health Organization on the implementation of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control and the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products (the first public health treaty negotiated under the auspices of the WHO).
