Spirit Bear Film Screening and Panel

There will be a virtual film screening and panel discussion of Spirit Bear and Children Make History: Lessons for Social Work and Law on January 25, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm EST. The movie is an account of a justice issue involving First Nations children by explaining Jordan’s Principle and demonstrating how all children can work for fairness and reconciliation. Spreakers include Cindy Blackstock, Nicole Ives and Kathryn Chadwick.
The event is presented by the McGill Joint MSW/Law Program, Indigenous Access McGill Spirit Bear (@SpiritBear) and the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada.
