Course Lecturer for INFS 617 Information System Design

If you are interested in applying and you are an:

External candidates (do not currently hold a job at McGill University, or have held a position in the past, which is now terminated), please apply through the Workday careers website. Follow this guide for instructions on how to apply.

Course Lecturer positions are governed by the McGill Course Lecturers and Instructors Union (MCLIU) collective agreement. Please consult the collective agreement for additional information on the selection process. An application form can be found on p. 92 (Appendix 11) of the collective agreement. Please note that offers are subject to budgetary restrictions.

Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, & Graduate Assistant positions

TA Positions

Typically, the School has several Teaching Assistant (TA) positions a year open to PhD students. These positions are communicated to SIS PhD students by email and posted in Workday.

The TA positions for the Fall 2023 term are posted on Workday from May 31, 2023 to June 20, 2023, inclusively.

RA & GA Positions

Several SIS faculty members employ students for Research Assistant (RA) positions. Positions are filled at the discretion of the professor. Masters and PhD students interested in RA opportunities should review research projects of interest on the SIS faculty pages and contact faculty members directly to express interest in working as an RA. Doctoral students should also mention interest to their supervisors. In addition, Graduate Assistant (GA) positions are occasionally recruited from the student body.
