Doina Precup et Tim Kennedy

Doina Precup (School of Computer Science) and Tim Kennedy (Dept. of Neurology & Neurosurgery)

Assoc. Prof. Precup is a co-director of the Reasoning and Learning Lab at the McGill School of Computer Science. Her research efforts cover a wide range of topics including Markov processes, computational linguistics, and machine deep learning. Prof. Kennedy and his team look at a variety of neuroscientific topics, including the molecular mechanisms behind neural development and the plasticity of mammalian nervous system. In this talk, we will hear where and how Precup’s and Kennedy’s research intersect to provide new insights into the growing field of artificial intelligence.
