The Impacts and Solutions to Mining - 24 hours of science

Redpath Museum Dawson Gallery (second floor), 859 rue Sherbrooke Ouest, Montreal, QC, H3A 0C4, CA
All the activities for 24 hours of science are FREE

Did you know that essential goods like glass windows, matches, toothpaste and table salt are all made of minerals? Minerals are found in the earth and we have to dig for them. Sometimes, we have to dig very, very, very deep beneath the planet's surface to get the minerals we need. Come learn all about the mining industry and the new techniques implemented to reduce its negative impacts on the landscape, water resources and local wildlife.

In English. No reservation necessary.
