Associate Provost, Academic Planning and Faculty Affairs
Professor Mauzeroll is a Professor of Chemistry in the Chemistry Department at McGill. She also held a position at the Université du Québec à Montréal. Her group’s research focusses on fundamental and industrial research in electrochemistry. Professor Mauzeroll’s service to her university is deeply rooted in collegial labour relations. At UQAM, she was a union representative. At McGill, Professor Mauzeroll held leadership roles with the McGill Association of University Teachers (VP External, President Elect, President, Past President). In these functions, she actively participated in FQPPU and CAUT activities, assisted colleagues during disciplinary processes, participated in Faculty mentoring events and contributed to the revisions of several policies.
In the position of Associate Provost (Academic Policies and Faculty Affairs), Professor Mauzeroll will oversee the Academic Personnel Office, faculty engagement initiatives, tenure-track licensing, academic salary policy, and collective bargaining for faculty associations. She will help develop, review, and interpret academic policies, and work in close collaboration with the Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion on faculty mentorship and employment equity. She will also provide advice to university leadership on faculty-related issues, and oversee the Canada Research Chair program, internal awards and endowed professorships.
