Guan Ting Liu is currently an undergraduate student majoring in Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University. He will be participating in various research studies within Dr. Suzanne King’s Lab at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute.
With a background in the life sciences, Guan Ting is fascinated by researches in the field of biology and medicine. He will be working under the supervision of Dr. Laplante and Dr. Cao on prenatal maternal stress studies involving methods such as epigenetics and structural imaging MRI.
Outside of the lab and lecture halls, Guan Ting devotes his time to volunteering at the MUHC Royal Victoria Hospital. He is also enthusiastic about analogue photography, film processing and digital darkroom. He strives to become a doctor one day.
