PhD Candidate Stephanie Mouchbahani-Constance wins three awards at the 2021 CSHRF

Congratulations to physiology PhD candidate Stephanie Mouchbahani-Constance on her outstanding research and poster presentation at this year's Canadian Student Health Research Forum (CSHRF) held virtually from June 14-18, 2021. Stephanie was selected to receive three awards: a Gold Award, a Gairdner Award and the Lindau Award!

Stephanie's presentation was entitled "Identifying the molecular mechanism for the pain caused by lionfish venom" and her research was performed under the supervision of Dr. Reza Sharif, Associate Professor of Physiology and Director of the Alan Edwards Centre for Research on Pain.
