Dr. Leon Glass wins McGill Medal for Exceptional Academic Achievement
Congratulations to physiology faculty member Dr. Leon Glass, one of three winners of the 2020 McGill Medal for Exceptional Academic Achievement in recognition of his outstanding contributions to his discipline, to McGill, and to society at large.
Dr. Glass is Professor Emeritus of Physiology and holds the Isadore Rosenfeld Chair in Cardiology. He is considered a pioneer in the field of applying nonlinear mathematics to biology, and is renowned for his influential research leading to the development of a mathematical model of chaos in physiological control systems. Dr. Glass continues to conduct research and remains a valuable collaborator within our department. Thank you, Leon, for your exceptional work!
