Dr. Evelyn Constation Appointed Interim Program Director of the General Pediatrics Residency Program

Dr. Evelyn Constantin will be the Interim Program Director for the General Pediatrics Resident Program for one year beginning July 1, 2021.

Dr. Constantin is an Associate Professor in the Division of General Pediatrics with a particular focus and expertise in pediatric sleep medicine. She also is a noted educator and educational administrator. She has served previously as the General Pediatrics PGME PD, as well as an Assistant Dean in PGME with a particular focus on competency by design. She is a member of the Faculty Honour Roll for Educational Excellence.

Dr. Elisa Ruano-Cea returns from her maternity leave as the Assistant Program Director.

While welcoming Dr. Constantin into this important role we need to thank Dr. Robert Sternszus for his tenure as the General Pediatrics Program Director. Dr. Sternszus' time as PD was marked by excellence and innovation for which he can be proud and the entire Department benefitted.
