Interdisciplinary Education Team

Interdisciplinary education in palliative care is a collaborative approach to teaching and learning that brings together all of the disciplines involved in the care of palliative patients and their families.

Palliative Care McGill is very fortunate to be affiliated with well-resourced clinical sites staffed with excellent clinical educators from the full range of palliative care disciplines: nursing, music and art therapies, social work, psychology, and medicine.

Members of our palliative care education team engage in a wide range of educational activities including: clinical supervision at the graduate and undergraduate levels; continuous professional education to their colleagues within and beyond palliative care; and interactive lectures with palliative care volunteers-in-training.
