Palliative Care McGill research uses both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to create and share the knowledge that underpins good quality of life and quality of care for people living with a life-limiting illness.

Our research focuses on a broad range of palliative care concerns for both the pediatric and adult populations with various life-limiting illnesses: the needs of patients and their families; bereavement; volunteers; ethics; and health care delivery.

Our researchers are either practicing clinicians or work closely with practicing clinicians to ensure the relevance of our projects, to foster the exchange of ideas, and to provide top-quality supervision to graduate students, residents, and postdoctoral fellows in various disciplines.
