McGill's Ingram School of Nursing offers five Nurse Practitioner concentrations: Primary Care, Mental Health, Neonatal, Pediatric and Adult Care.
Please note that the Pediatric Concentration is only accepting applications for Fall 2023 admissions from individuals with a Master’s of Nursing. Individuals with a Bachelor's of Nursing can apply for Fall 2024 admission (applications will open in the Fall of 2023).
For Mental Health, Pediatric, and Primary Care Concentrations:
For the Neonatal Concentration:
- For nurses with a Bachelor’s of Nursing degree, the course of study consists of a Master’s of Science (Applied) followed by a Graduate Diploma in Nurse Practitioner – Neonatal.
2) For nurses with a Master’s of Nursing degree, the course of study consists of a Graduate Certificate followed by a Graduate Diploma in Nurse Practitioner – Neonatal.
For Adult Care Concentration:
There are two pathways for completing Nurse Practitioner studies at McGill:
1) For candidates entering with a Bachelor of Nursing, the program combines a Master’s of Science degree and a Graduate Diploma.
2) For candidates entering with a Master’s of Nursing, the program combines a Graduate Certificate and a Graduate Diploma.
