100 Stories of Strengths Submission Form

The Ingram School of Nursing at McGill University has a century’s worth of stories of our strengths, as nurses, as nurse educators, as nursing students, as clinicians and as and researchers. What sets us apart? Our Strengths-Based approach to nursing, nursing education and healthcare. Laurie Gottlieb, RN, PhD, FCAHS, Professor and Flora Madeline Shaw Chair of Nursing, led the evolution of the McGill Model by developing Strengths-Based Nursing and Healthcare, a philosophy and value-driven approach to guide clinicians, leaders, and educators. Strengths-Based Nursing and Strengths-Based Care, referring to the strengths that nurses, patients and families are encouraged to recognize and foster in themselves and others to promote health and facilitate healing.

Are you a McGill Nursing alum, student, faculty member (current or former), supporter or partner who has a Story of Strength you’d like to share in honour of our School’s 100th anniversary?
