Experts: Lithium battery fire near Port of Montreal

A fire started Monday night in a container holding 15,000 kilograms of lithium batteries near the Port of Montreal, causing thick smoke and prompting the city to issue a precautionary lockdown notice for some residents. 

These experts from McGill University are available to share their insights on this topic.  

Jill Baumgartner, Professor, Departments of Equity, Ethics, and Policy & Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health, investigates the impact of air pollution on human health.
