Want to advance your writing projects? Ready to try a new time management method with other motivated writers? Join us on campus!
The McGill Writing Centre's Tutorial Service is delighted to launch a new initiative for students at all levels of study to advance their writing projects.
The session will follow a modified Pomodoro model:
- 10 minutes: Welcome, introductions, instructions, and setting SMART writing goals
- 50 minutes: FIRST WRITING BLOCK
- 15 minutes: Break
- 60 minutes: SECOND WRITING BLOCK
- 15 minutes: Break
- 50 minutes: THIRD WRITING BLOCK
- 10 minutes: WRAP UP; DEBRIEF
SMART: specific, measurable, achievable, results-focused, time-bound
Capacity: 25 students (we will strive for a balance of both undergraduate and graduate students)
