Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) - Residency, Fellowships, Electives
The PGME Office offers a variety of postgraduate training opportunities for international residents and fellows. Our residency programs consist of specialty and subspecialty programs fully accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Our fellowship (post-residency) programs consist of specialized clinical and clinical research training.

Elective Courses at the Institute of Health Sciences Education
Medical Education Electives, at the Institute of Health Sciences Education, are designed for residents and fellows who view education as part of their career. Exposure to the broad field of medical education will include: the principles of pedagogy, curriculum, assessment, education research and development, and the role of physician-as-teacher in undergraduate, postgraduate and faculty development settings.
