Type of Lodging


Lodging is provided by the establishment and is located 1 km (walking distance) from the hospital.

Trainees are lodged in a "Shared Apartment" for trainees only. Trainees have a private room and share common gender-neutral areas (bathroom, kitchen, living room).

Lodging can be available as of the evening before the first day of your rotation.

Trainees are expected at the Hospital at 9:00am on the first day of their rotation.

► Note: It is important that everyone does their share to keep all common areas clean and safe at any time.

We recommend that trainees travel to Chandler by car. There is also a possibility to travel by bus.

Depending on the location of their base teaching site, each trainee receives a stipend to help pay for transportation costs. Payment is done by the teaching site.

Trainees must make their own travel arrangements.

NOTE: For all students making their own arrangements. All students will be required to attend a mandatory Progress Test at the end of each block.

PLEASE do not make any travel arrangements before confirming the exact date of your test.

Traveling by Bus

Orleans Express serves Chandler. From Montreal, departure is from the bus station, Gare d’autocar de Montréal, located at the Berri-UQAM métro station. Duration of the bus ride is approximately 15 hours.
