McGill Health Statistics Training Network: A CANSSI Collaborating Centre
In 2017, the departments of Biostatistics & Mathematics & Statistics joined forces to form the McGill Health Statistics Training Network, a CANSSI-designated Health Sciences Collaborating Centre in partnership with several research units and public/private sector groups, offers world-class training in statistics and health sciences.
The McGill Health Statistics Training Network offers MSc and PhD training with opportunities for experiential learning through partners such as:
- the Canadian Network for Observational Drug Effect Studies (CNODES)
- the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ)
- the Respiratory Epidemiology and Clinical Research Unit (RECRU) at the McGill University Health Centre
- the Ludmer Centre for Neuroinformatics and Mental Health
This is a renewable three-year designation based in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupation Health at McGill University. The current term is from April 2017 to March 2020.
