Web-based training is a fast growing educational medium that is most effective when it’s interactive. However, many training videos rate low on interactivity. This project will introduce a web-based training program that utilizes a virtual patient simulator provided by SimForHealth. This VR training program aims to promote standardized and evidence based educational activities while promoting clinical reasoning for providers, and improved soft skills for both providers and service users. We will also conduct a systematic review of the efficacy and effectiveness of this course to promote behavioral/attitudinal changes among health care providers and users.
