Questions to keep in mind when designing your internship:
-
Who will be appointed the Site Supervisor?
-
What can an intern realistically contribute to our work over 150 hours from January to April or May to August?
- Will the internship be paid or unpaid? Where can we seek subsidies to provide a salary/honourarium?
- What minimum skills and experience does the student bring and need for this position?
- Will the student have other employment or taking courses while doing this internship?
- How can this internship prepare a student for their future career goals/vision?
- What internship experience can we provide virtually that is still engaging?
- What will be the application period and process for this internship? (i.e. 2-week window, requesting CV and conducting interviews)
- Is there any opportunity for the internship to apply educational theories, research, curriculum development and/or other Learning Competencies for the B.A.(Education), Major in Education in Global Contexts
