McGill's Co-Curricular Record (CCR) is becoming the new Student Experience Record (SER), which will be launched in Fall 2025 in the myFuture platform. This change will enhance the way we recognize and document student learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. See more information about the SER here.

The deadline to submit CCR participation/attendance lists has passed. Activities that took place before July 1, 2025, were eligible for the CCR, but any participant lists received after August 1 will not be processed. Historical CCR data will be preserved and migrated to the SER for current students.

Selling your transferrable skills in Interviews (Grad Edition)

"Selling" yourself in interviews is a skill that doesn't come naturally to most people. Like many skills, however, you can hone it with practice!

If you are looking to transfer your skills to a career outside of academia, join this interactive workshop to practice communicating your value as a skilled professional.

Working together through interactive scenarios, we will:

  • Identify transferrable skills employers want (e.g., problem-solving skills, teamwork skills, communication skills)
  • Practice interviewing for jobs where you have the required skills but lack industry experience
  • Practice the STAR method to map out compelling answers to skills-focused interview questions

Hybrid event. Register on myFuture for the Zoom link/location details: https://myfuture.mcgill.ca/entityRedirect.htm?eventId=688
