Join us for a lively talk from Jim Handman (longtime Executive Producer of CBC Radio's award-winning Quirks and Quarks) as he explores how the conflicting cultures of media and science can create challenges for effective communication. Using concrete examples and engaging audio clips, Jim will show what works (and what doesn't!) so as to help scientists get their messages across more effectively to journalists and the broader public.
