Dr Michelle Elizov

Associate Professor of Medicine, McGill University
Dr Elizov is an Associate Professor of Medicine at McGill University and an attending physician at the Jewish General Hospital site. She is the Assistant Dean Faculty Development, the Chair of the GIM Training Program Competence Committee and Vice-Chair of the Royal College GIM Specialty Committee. She previously held the position Director of University and Medical Education, CIUSSS Centre Ouest de l’Ile de Montreal. She obtained a Master’s degree in Health Professions Education (with honours) and is an active and passionate teacher at all levels.
Dr Elizov was named to the Faculty of Medicine 2011 Honour List for Educational Excellence.
Current research interests are mentorship and its importance in the development of physicians at all levels, teaching, learning and evaluation in the clinical setting, and faculty development.
