The FRQ’s vision of diversity “includes, but is not limited to, gender, disability, Indigenous identity, being part of a racialized group, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, religion, age, language, parenthood, immigration, geographic location, and socioeconomic status.” Its Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy 2021-2026 aims to mobilize the research community to include EDI in all facets of research.
