Equity First Responder Workshop

Tuesday, March 9, 2021 15:00to17:00

This two-hour session is intended for staff and faculty who have been appointed Equity Ambassadors or Equity First Responders in their Department or Faculty. The session will provide information on McGill policies and resources and will explore options for reporting and mediation related to discrimination, sexual violence and/or harassment. Participants will also learn about how to respond to disclosures, and will apply what they’ve learned via analysis and discussion of case studies. The workshop will be led by Angela Campbell (Associate Provost; Equity and Academic Policy), Sinead Hunt (Associate Director; Office of Mediation and Resolution) and Bianca Tetrault (Sexual Violence Education Advisor; Office for Sexual Violence Response, Support and Education). To register for one of the sessions, please sign in to Minerva and fill out this form (link to form on Equity website).
