Faculty Learning Community: Advancing Equity in the Classroom

Call for Participants

For the second year, the Equity Team will be running a Faculty Learning Community. We are organizing a small, cross-disciplinary group committed to advancing equity, accessibility, and anti-racism in their classroom practices. From January to June 2027, participants will meet each month, in person, to exchange ideas, explore research-informed strategies, and re-imagine elements of their teaching.

What to Expect

  • Monthly, in-person, two-hour sessions (January to June) built around pedagogical frameworks and peer discussions
  • Collaborative learning with instructors from across disciplines who share a commitment to equity and accessibility in student success
  • Practical tools and resources that can be integrated into teaching and course development
  • Key concepts and topics related to advancing equity in the classroom and beyond

We welcome applications from instructors in all disciplines who are:

  • Interested in reflecting on and improving practices
  • Open to collaborating and sharing ideas with colleagues
