Thursday, December 10, 2026 13:30to15:00
Online
Participants will receive an Outlook calendar invitation with a Teams link upon successful completion of registration.

This session focuses on reviewing multiple strategies for fostering equitable and inclusive learning environments, and then identifying and working with just one strategy. Through critical reflection and group discussion, we will consider various questions, concerns, and ways to get started, as well as stay accountable.

By the end of this session, you will have had a chance to:

  • Share strategies you or your colleagues currently use to support equity and inclusion.
  • Explore various equitable and inclusive strategies for potential use in your course.
  • Identify a strategy you would like to try.
  • Develop a plan to integrate that strategy into an upcoming course.

McGill University is on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. We acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous peoples whose presence marks this territory on which peoples of the world now gather.
