McGill Dental Medicine Orientation
The McGill Dental Medicine Orientation will be held in person on August 19. The morning will be a joint orientation session with Medicine students from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the late morning and afternoon sessions will be solely with DMD students.
All newly admitted students must attend the Orientation and registration sessions on August 19. Failure to attend any portion of orientation may result in the cancellation of your registration.
The Orientation schedule for DMD I begins in the morning at Plaza Centre-Ville and continues late morning and afternoon at 2001 McGill College Avenue, whereas the Orientation schedule for DMD II Advanced Standing begins late morning at 2001 McGill College Avenue.
The orientation program requires that you be physically present as all sessions are held in person.

I am delighted to welcome you to the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences at McGill University.

Through a wide array of programs, dynamic, innovative and challenging learning strategies and interdisciplinary resources, our students will acquire the skills and transversal abilities to lead the profession in a socially responsible manner, to address global disparity in oral health, to conduct ground-breaking research that informs dental practice, and finally to exchange knowledge to influence oral health care policies.
