Upcoming deadline

The Dean of Students Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Academic Advising  recognizes the integral and valuable contribution that academic advising makes to undergraduate student life at McGill. Nominate an advisor by March 11!


Confidentiality

The Office of the Dean of Students (ODoS) upholds Quebec privacy legislation, which does not permit any information about a student to be released to any third party without the student’s prior written consent. This includes instructors, members of a student’s family, and friends. Some emergencies may give rise to exceptions under provincial law. In this case, an emergency is defined as a situation in which a student’s health or well-being is seriously at risk.
