Aïcha Traoré (MMF’20), now a Senior Market Risk Analyst at National Bank of Canada, credits the McGill Master of Management in Finance (MMF) program for allowing her to master finance fundamentals and hone critical skills. Launched in 2009, Desautels Capital Management (DCM) gives students a unique opportunity to run multi-million dollar investments funds before graduation.

Five Master of Management in Finance (MMF) students are off to the regional round of CFA Institute’s Research Challenge, an annual global competition that provides students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics. Facing stiff competition from HEC Montreal and Concordia University, Zirui (Bruce) Chen, Huiru (Audrey) Wu, Neil Wiacek, Chen (Andy) Yu and Haiwen Luo formed the team that came out on top.
