Montréal, November 28th – CQDM is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the D2R (DNA to RNA) Initiative at McGill University, aimed at funding translational research projects carried out through collaborations between researchers and industry. This alliance seeks to support and accelerate the development and commercialization of innovative RNA-based therapies. It aims to provide patients with safer and more effective therapeutic options, particularly for treating cancer, rare diseases, and preventing various infectious diseases.

What is the Faculty Mobility for Partnership Building Program?

Improving air quality and developing advanced health monitoring devices are the aims of research projects funded by the Robert Sauvé Research Institute for Occupational Health and Safety (IRSST)

Sixty-eight McGill researchers have received grants through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), for a total federal investment of $8.8 million.

Twenty McGill researchers have received infrastructure awards from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) to support their innovative projects, for a total federal investment of $5.5 million.
These grants will be matched by the Quebec government, doubling their value.
