Schulich Library of Science and Engineering is undergoing a major summer shifting project. We are currently shifting our collection in order to provide more study space on the fourth and fifth floors. We will be shipping over 55,000 titles to our storage facility at the Currie Gym.

On December 1, 2015, the Life Sciences Library Service Point was relocated to the Osler Library of the History of Medicine (still on the 3rd floor of McIntyre Medical Building). Loans services, including course reserves, are now available from Osler Library. Please note, however, that course reserves materials for Nursing have been moved to Schulich Library of Science and Engineering.

Wednesday, September 10, 2014 From Robert Couvrette, Associate Vice-Principal (University Services) and Colleen Cook, Trenholme Dean of Libraries We would like to advise you that work involving an in-depth investigation of and some repairs to the masonry walls of the Macdonald-Stewart Library Building, which houses the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering, will begin on Monday, September 15.
Due to a major power shutdown, the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering will close at 8:00PM on Monday, October 24. The Library will reopen at 7:00AM on Tuesday, October 25. We apologize for the inconvenience. The Humanities and Social Sciences Library remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for study.

Please be advised there will be a ventilation shutdown at the Macdonald Stewart Library Building on Saturday, October 15th and Sunday, October 16th from 07h00 until 16h00. This will affect the entire building including the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering. This shutdown is necessary for Facilities to perform a filter change and replacement.
On Monday, October 10th (Thanksgiving Day), 24 hour study access will be available at the Humanities and Social Sciences Library and the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering. All other library branches will be physically closed. Services (loans, reserves, consultations) at all branches will also be closed on Monday, October 10th.
lease take note that due to a major power shutdown that will be affecting the Schulich Library on Monday March 28 (from 21:00), 2011, that we will be closing the Library at 20:30 and reopening it at normal time on Tuesday March 29 - i.e. 08:30.
