The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Olivier Niggli as WADA's new Director General. Mr. Niggli, who has held the role of Chief Operating Officer since 2014, succeeds long-standing Director General, David Howman, who has chosen not to seek a further extension of his mandate with WADA.

Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou, the dean of Desautels, a Canadian business school, says a big part of her job is scouring the world for potential benefactors. “When you are asking someone for money it is better to do it in person,” she observes. Over the weekend after the terrorist attacks in Paris, the email cancellations started to come in at the Travel Network Corp., a company with offices in Toronto in Montreal that offers “bespoke travel for the luxury sector.”
... Dr. Ken Lester, a professor at the Desautels faculty of management at McGill University, noted that the Paris stock market barely flickered overall on Monday. Longer-term, investors, however, may be deterred by the city’s changing risks.

On November 13, 2015, the Marcel Desautels Institute for Integrated Management (MDIIM) and the Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship co-sponsored a half-day workshop on social entrepreneurship.
