Paris attacks spark concerns in tourism sector: ‘They are cancelling their trips’
Over the weekend after the terrorist attacks in Paris, the email cancellations started to come in at the Travel Network Corp., a company with offices in Toronto in Montreal that offers “bespoke travel for the luxury sector.”
... Dr. Ken Lester, a professor at the Desautels faculty of management at McGill University, noted that the Paris stock market barely flickered overall on Monday. Longer-term, investors, however, may be deterred by the city’s changing risks.
