Contact the McGill Career Development Office if you have questions about McGill's BCL/JD program or you would like to take part in events or post a summer or articling position.
IMPORTANT: Information for 2L Employers
Employers can access myFuture, our online portal, to:
- Create a profile, including a logo;
- Post summer, articling, part-time and research opportunities;
- Receive and manage students' applications;
- Announce upcoming events and receive attendance confirmation from students;
- Request rooms to use for information sessions and on-campus interviews.
La version française du site n’est pas encore disponible, mais votre profil et vos offres d’emploi peuvent être rédigés en français.
See the myFuture user guide for instructions on how to register as a user, and how to post a job: myfuture_user_guide_english [.pdf]. (NB: Faculty members who wish to post positions are "Employers" for the purposes of posting, not "Faculty").
- Not Yet Registered: Create a profile and post a position
- Already Registered: Post a position
Sachez que le CDP doit approuver toutes les offres d’emploi avant publication. Les affichages par des recruteurs tiers ne sont pas autorisés s’ils ne mentionnent pas le nom de l’employeur pour lesquels ils recrutent. All postings must conform with the McGill policy on unpaid internships: we will only allow postings for positions that are unpaid or that pay less than minimum wage for not-for-profit organizations.
The CDO organizes on-campus interviews (OCIs) for employers in Toronto and the US. The CDO also facilitates students' participation in organized recruitment in other markets.
We send invitations to our Toronto and New York/US OCIs in May. To receive an invitation, please email cdo.law [at] mcgill.ca.
McGill and the Ontario law schools take turns organizing OCIs for Vancouver and Calgary employers in Toronto each September. If your firm would like to participate, please cdo.law [at] mcgill.ca (email us) or any of the participating law schools.
For information about organized recruitment in any other market, or in the above markets outside the OCI processes, please cdo.law [at] mcgill.ca (email us). If you would like to post a position, you can do so in the myFuture portal.
Les employeurs peuvent prendre part aux évènements organisés par le CDP, l’Association des étudiant.e.s en droit et les autres groupes étudiants.
