Specializations are the equivalent of Minors (24-credit areas of interest), and are only offered within the B.Sc. (AgrEnvSc). The Department of Animal Science offers a range of these Specializations to prospective students, depending on their career goals. Once chosen, students should pick a Major that provides a context to the specialization in question. For example, Life Sciences will give a more theoretical background to the specialization while Agro-Environmental Sciences may provide a more hands-on context. Students must take at least one Specialization (within a Major) and may decide to specialize in two areas.
