Association of Ghana Industries
The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) is Ghana’s leading non- profit business association, representing over 1,200 companies across the manufacturing, agriculture, services, and other industrial sectors. Established in 1957 and incorporated in 1958 by a group of indigenous manufacturers, led by Dr. (Mrs.) Esther A. Ocloo of Nkulenu Industries Ltd, in Ghana. AGI serves as the voice of the private sector and plays a central role in promoting industrial development and competitiveness.
AGI works to influence policy, promote local production, and create market linkages for its members both locally and internationally. It provides a platform for networking, business development, and industry-relevant training. Through strategic partnerships and initiatives, AGI supports the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and promotes innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth across Ghana's industrial landscape.
AGI’s core services include policy advocacy, market access support, investment promotion, trade facilitation, capacity building, and connecting businesses with new opportunities. Its work helps members navigate regulatory environments, enhance operational capacity, and access both domestic and global markets.
