Meet McGill Activities

Please note: All information on this page applies to our Meet McGill event on Saturday, March 21st.

Make the most of your time at Meet McGill by completing the pre-arrival steps! 

 

  1. Be sure to have your QR code ready for check-in. Three check in points are available: upon arriving on McTavish street from Sherbrooke street, at the entrance of the Leacock Building, and at the Mount Royal Center.
  2. View the map ahead of time to ensure you know where to go when you arrive.
  3. Plan your trip by browsing the available parking and public transportation options. Note: Peel is the nearest subway station on the green line.
  4. Check the weather forecast. This event will take place rain or shine, so be sure to come dressed for the weather, and bring an umbrella!

Arrival on campus

  • Three check in points are available: upon arriving on McTavish street from Sherbrooke street, at the entrance of the Leacock Building, and at the Mount Royal Center.
  • Attend your Welcome to McGill Information SessionSee timing in the table below.
  • Go on your campus tour you will depart from the Welcome Centre
  • Visit the Academic Advising and Student Services Fair in the Mount Royal Center, 4th floor from 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM, 2200 Rue Mansfield, Montréal, QC H3A 3R8
  • Get your McGill Swag from the McGill Campus Store, they will be open from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Please make your way to the Welcome Centre to join a tour.

  • Morning: Morning tours are only available to those who registered when signing up for Meet McGill. If you’ve reserved a spot, please arrive on time!
  • Afternoon: Afternoon campus tours will be offered from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, and operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is not required. Tours depart every 30 minutes.

    Student Meet & Greet / Parent Meet & Greet

    4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

    All Meet & Greets will be held in the in the Mount Royal Center, 4th floor from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM. 2200 Rue Mansfield, Montréal, QC H3A 3R8
