E-billing is convenient, easy to use, and secure! With e-billing you are notified by e-mail when your bill is ready to view, and you have the ability to view a billing history of up to 12 months. What's more, you can assign access privileges to a guest so that they can view your e-bill and Account Summary by Term, and even pay your bills! e-billing is also paper free, bringing McGill one step closer to our sustainability goals!

Accessing your e-Bill

You will be notified through your official McGill email address that your monthly e-bill is ready to be viewed on Minerva. Under the Student Accounts Menu, go to the e-Billing and e-Payment Menu to view the monthly billing statement. Your e-bill can be downloaded or printed as a PDF file by logging into Minerva with your McGill ID and PIN, or by signing on to myMcGill. You are responsible for checking your McGill email account for the notification that your e-bill is available. E-bills are issued within the first 5 days of every month and are due 23-25 days later. To keep all data secure and confidential, don't share your passwords with anyone and make sure to logout or close your browser when you're finished reviewing your e-bill.

Failure to check email on a regular basis will in no way constitute grounds for the reversal of interest charges and/or late payment fees should the bill not be paid.

How does it work?

Step 1 — Log into Minerva

  • Select Student Menu
  • Select Student Accounts Menu
  • Select e-Billing and e-Payment Menu

Step 2 — View your e-bill

  • click on the date of the e-bill you want to see
  • click on any associated inserts that may be available

Step 3 — Pay your e-bill

  • via internet banking
  • pre-authorized debit (e-cheque)
