The Faculty of Engineering is honoured to announce the establishment of the 1989 Polytechnique Memorial Scholarships, in memory of the 14 women who were murdered at École Polytechnique. 14 awards will be given on the basis of academic merit to undergraduate women in Engineering, highlighting women involved in entrepreneurial activities through McGill Engine, the Faculty of Engineering’s Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The scholarships are made possible thanks to the generous support of McGill alumnus, Ian Van Cortlandt McLachlin (B.Eng. 1960).
