Overview

With an Honours degree in Economics and Accounting at McGill, you will develop in-demand skills for a rewarding career in the economics profession or accounting industry.  

Your accounting courses will help you master the language of business that is essential to investment and managerial decisions. On the other hand, your economics courses will help you gain an understanding of how economies function internally and on a global scale, what drives consumers, and how public policy and global events affect markets. 

You will study topics like economic statistics, macroeconomic theory, financial accounting and the development of accounting thought. As the program brings together Management and Arts students, you’ll develop strong networks to help you build your professional portfolio.
