Overview

The field of artificial intelligence (AI) is experiencing considerable growth. There is significant demand for knowledge in this area, in industry as well as with students. Applications for AI are emerging in all fields of engineering. If you’re planning to enrol in an engineering program, the Applied Artificial Intelligence Minor will provide you with the foundation you need to apply AI techniques in your field of interest.

Areas of application and research enabled by this minor include, among many others, machine learning, computer vision and image generation, natural language processing, data-driven engineering analysis and design, knowledge discovery, and the ethics of autonomous intelligent systems.
