TISED is pleased to announce the establishment of the Carol McLeod Faculty Award in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. This prestigious award has been made possible through a generous gift to the Faculty of Engineering from alumnus David P. J. McLeod. The award aims to support and recognize the exceptional teaching and research innovation efforts of professors within the Faculty of Engineering affiliated with TISED and contribute to renewable energy and energy efficiency.
We congratulate Prof. Sarah Jordaan for becoming the inaugural Carol McLeod Faculty Award recipient. Prof. Jordaan's project will focus on EV battery deployment, vehicle electrification and application of circular economy concepts to the management of Li-ion batteries within a Canadian context.
