“Let’s Talk About the Elephant in the Room: Engaging with Privilege, Neocolonialism, and Oppression in Global Health Work”

Dr. Marie-Lyne Grenier is an Occupational Therapist and full-time faculty member at McGill University’s SPOT. She will share her experience working in Ghana and discuss the importance of reflexivity and critical consciousness as a harm-reduction measure for those considering global health work.

SPOT’s Global Health Forum is an opportunity for students, clinicians and faculty alike to share experiences and network.

A light snack will be served.
