2022 Lavigne-Smee Visiting Scholar

Prof. Carolyn Unsworth, PhD, BAppSci(OccTher), GCTE, OTR, MRCOT, FOTARA, will present the 2022 Lavigne-Smee Visiting Scholar address in the context of kicking off the Masters' Projects Presentations. Prof. Unsworth is the Discipline Lead Occupational Therapy, Institute of Health and Wellbeing, at Federation University Australia. Her presentation will focus on how research underpins expert clinical practice, and discuss this in the context of physical and occupational therapy research broadly, and her own research in the area of community transport mobility in both the areas of driver assessment and rehabilitation, and the use of mobility scooters and wheelchairs on public transport.
