Dr Lamontagne's interests are directed toward the assessment and treatment of locomotor disorders in subjects with a lesion of the nervous system. She is interested in the use of virtual reality for the rehabilitation of walking after stroke. She also has ongoing projects on the control of eye motions during locomotion, as well as on the role of visual information in the control of locomotion. Her research laboratory is at the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr Lamontagne is the recipient of a New Investigator Award from CIHR and FRSQ.
